Hey everyone, I'm a new dog mom to a 1-year-old terrier mix named Milo (about 20 lbs, super energetic!). I'm looking for recommendations for a good harness and leash that won't break the bank but will hold up to his pulling. Also, considering a travel cage for car rides—anyone have experience with foldable ones? Thanks in advance!

Not a dog expert, but I've got reptiles that need secure enclosures. For cages, I'd recommend checking out brands that use sturdy materials—avoid flimsy plastic if Milo's a chewer. My bearded dragon's carrier is from PetSmart and folds flat, works great. Maybe look for something with good ventilation like aquarium tops have?

Welcome to the club! For harnesses, I swear by the Ruffwear Front Range for my Akita (he's 100 lbs!). It's adjustable and has a front clip to reduce pulling. For leashes, get a 6-foot nylon one with a padded handle—your hands will thank you! Cages: I use a Midwest foldable crate for travel, easy to set up and durable. Milo sounds adorable!

Lol I'm a cat lady, but my neighbor has a corgi and uses a Kurgo harness—it's lightweight and has a seatbelt loop for car safety. For cages, maybe consider a soft-sided one if Milo's calm in the car? My cats have one for vet trips, and it's less bulky. Good luck with your pup!
